Libutti Jewelers Celebrates 60th Anniversary With A Grand Reopening

Established in 1943, Libutti Jewelers of Huntington Village is proud to have served many generations of customers in and around the Huntington area. The Libutti family, many of whom still live and work in the Huntington area, is among the most respected and well established families in Huntington. In fall of 2004 we more than doubled our size to better serve our customers.

Libutti Jewelers prides itself as a full service jewelry store, reasonably priced, with expert gemologists and jewelers, extensive watch expertise and a dedicated sales and design staff. We are one of the few jewelers that provide on-sight jewelry and watch repair services. We recently added a computerized engraving system and digital photography station. Because we do most of our work in house, we can afford to give our customers the best prices on custom designed jewelry.

Libutti Jewelers has as extensive an inventory of the latest in fine jewelry and watches as can be found in Huntington. Libutti's is a great source for everything from modestly priced gold and silver jewelry to higher priced diamond jewelry. Let the friendly staff at Libuttis show you their selection of the finest in name brand watches, designer jewelry and giftware for any occasion.

God Squad Attends Grand Reopening

Libutti Jewelers raises over $6,000.00 to fight Parkinsons Disease and help the needy

We were honored to have celebrated talk show hosts Rabbi Marc Gellman and Father Tom Hartman join our event and assist us in our raffle of jewelrydonated by Libutti's in which the proceeds went to The Temple Beth Torah Wyandanch Foundation and The Father Tom Hartman Parkinsons Disease Research Foundation. We thank all those in attendance for their generosity and we feel blessed that we are able to contribute to two such worthy causes.

Celebrating One Of Our Own

People often inquire about Lieutenant General Frank Libutti (Ret.) for whom one of our local streets was renamed. Frank went to St. Anthonys High and later Graduated from The Citadel before going on to become a highly decorated Vietnam war veteran having received the Silver Star, the Purple Heart and later the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals among many others. Frank was the youngest Marine in history to achieve the rank of General and at the time of his retirement as Lieutenant General in 2001, was the Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces/Pacific/Commanding General, Fleet Marine Force which basically put every active Marine to the West of the Mississippi under his command. After his retirement, Frank became the first New York City Counterterrorism Commissioner before later being tapped by President Bush to become the Under Secretary for Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection for the newly formed Department of Homeland Security under Director Tom Ridge.
